Sammendrag
The aim of this chapter is two-fold: firstly, to present some longitudinal data on dropout in higher education in Norway and describe the current situation in various fields of study, and secondly, to contrast this with publicly available data which compares Norway and Denmark to see if this can contribute
to explaining some of the differences between the two countries. Hence, the idea is to present what completion and dropout looks like in Norway, a country which is very similar to Denmark in many ways, but where the dropout rates from higher education differ quite a lot.
