dc.description.abstract	This report contains the proceedings of a conference on research evaluation held at Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica, Oslo, 30-31 May 1991. The aim of the conference was to discuss how to perform research evaluations of high quality. The target group consisted mainly of staff in the research councils responsible for evaluative work. The conference was arranged by the Joint Board of the Norwegian Research Councils and the Institute for Studies in Research and Higher Education, the Norwegian Research Council for Science and the Humanities.	nb_NO
